Now before we talk about about the now defunct supercar show at the malibu country mart where a lot of sports cars regular cars and horse super cars will congregate every sunday. Now that show is pretty much done those but before we get into the bad news. Let's talk about model cars.

I just picked this up from japan bought it online 599 xx in red. It's got the number 77 on it hot wheels elite 118 scale course. And it says you can't see it here. But it says uh hot wheels one of up to 5 000.

Units. Does that mean they made 5 000. They make under 5 000. We will never know so back to the topic at hand here for those who are not in the know.

The malibu country march show. It's not an organized show by any means. Where there's an organizer or a group of people putting it together there's no sponsors or anything. It's just a bunch of people and car enthusiasts who get together on sunday.

They chill and they park and then they leave by the summer 2020. That's when the popularity of the show exploded in growth. You have people born at home border. Coved restrictions were being lifted slightly.

So everyone would take their car out. Enjoy the nice weather malibu and go for a nice little sunday cruise. That's when some of the issues really started to rise where some of the locals are complaining about the traffic. The loud cars.

The revving and basically taking up some of the parking spots for the patrons of that particular property and the shop owners that's when we started to see hostile security guards. We had a particular incident with one of the i think was a wells fargo security guard who just went off on one of our friends you could check out the clip right here here we go increased law enforcement people getting ridiculous minor infractions on their cars law enforcement. Just basically dissuading people and the general public and car enthusiasts from entering and basically being around the mall country mark fast forward to 2021 that's when the property owner decided to. Shut down.

Basically half the law at 10. Am to 11 am after years. A tit for tat. The property owner.

Decided and concocted a pretty ingenious solution to this whole situation. The law is considered private property and they installed a public but free valet system from 7 am to 4 pm. On sundays. You can't just park up there lounge around and then just leave you have to go through the public valet system and then you have to patronize at one of the stores you have to tell them exactly when and where you're going to and what you're going to buy.

And where you're going to eat at. I'm going to put up a screenshot of the post on instagram that we saw that was being shared around all over the car community in regards to these new rules. So we're going to head over there. I'm going to see exactly what is going on we got the cops here in force with the radar gun dane off the side of pch about a block away from the normal entrance of the malibu country mart.

This does not look good they are out in force and doubling down no way they actually have valet at the front. No way. That's actually a real thing. Oh.

I mean your body shops is going on i don't think there's anything in there. Oh. There's no bird back on point on the two rs with the light gold touches. Yellow calipers and we can't quite figure out the color code on this it looks silverish or grayish.

I've got a blue hue to it as well a lot of reflections. But dang not that oh i like the porsche and gold on the wing there out of all the cars here eyeballing this white ferrari f430 scuderia with the black wheels yellow calipers man these things look amazing oh no indeed. Wait prius. All the way in the back.

There. And the black series wait someone else got nailed whatever that is right there dark blue matching wheels got the roll cage in the back light blue and the two rs is also light blue as well look at that perfect dot spec you're currently on digital zones. Got one cop there the prius and another one that just drove past well he's done in 10 minutes. He's given out and dished out tickets this guy's sufficient not only do we have the cops.

But we got a green supra and someone's been pulled over in front of me right up. There. Oh no they are out for blood. That is correct anyways.

Let's check out this valet system here cheris on both sides here boom. The blue umbrella black series nice though i actually thought they were joking when they were gonna implement this valet system they actually are not there's like four or five guys in suits and jackets valen cars no freaking way. But luckily we're in the tesla and we can park in the back. And charge.

Yes. Sir. Dang black series got turned away. We got the shares department.

Everywhere and look they even have another barricade here for the charging no way hardcore dude. The benefits of having a tesla. They were not joking. These cars.

All have ballet stickers or uh validation tickets on the front windshields. No freaking way they actually didn't the war against car shows and supercars and sports cars. Versus. The malibu coach mark has taken another turn for better or worse you guys decide and this entire lot here is barricaded off as well 7 am to 4.

Lightning that's the first one. I've seen on the road look at that mr elon musk where's my cyber truck at oh everyone's getting turned around he determined which car is going to be a patron at one of these businesses like if you look like a sports car you just get turned away right. But how about the shelby right over here. What it's driving for bombs wait.

Why did he just open his trunk and then turn him away. What was he looking for definitely ieds brand new actually that's a pretty it's no british racing green. It's a nice color. The real question is will they make it through the gauntlet.

It's like it's a little you know hello world let's do a little 180. And you're out of there. You got the security contract you got the sheriffs here you got the tow truck contract and then you got the valet contract just to keep everyone out of this particular lot see like the sheriff literally just left. And gave the guy in the acr ticket for no play they're about a tallest car.

But i think he talked himself out of it i don't know someone's in trouble. Though they're not even trying they're like we're just gonna leave wow. And then installing and hiring ballet. You gotta love it just an immediate new turn on seeing the that lays across the street will he make it past the gauntlet.

I don't know no two thumbs down for the valet. It's a brilliant idea it really is f430 f 430. Looking. Nice that is gotta be the most creative and weirdest ways to really shut down a car show huh and there you guys have it the death of the malibu country mark we got worst off spec on the cayenne turbo s.

What is going on actually there's a lot going on so time to take the good old girl out kind of racer. The moses open car is covered in dust you can see it from the glare of the sun here then there's a rattling underneath the chassis. It's got a loose pipe or something. But it is neither here or there the sun is absolutely stunning here right off the pch.

We're right next to dog wire the beach. But we're too cheap to pay the ten dollars to go in we're just gonna chill right here off the side of the road get some photos but man this car. I have not driven it in a couple of weeks. And it definitely shows with all the dust on this car.

My goodness that is absolutely filthy give it 15 to 20 minutes on the sunset. We'll be in very good business boys and girls the best part is watching everyone's reactions while they drive past outstanding sunset. We got a lot of upset people trying to enter and exit dockweiler beach. But it is neither here there see what happened here we're currently here on the sixth street viaduct bridge.

We got police everywhere just the other night. Someone crashed a challenger or a charger onto an oncoming. Oh oh no triple duty tonight. Another accident.

4. 20 am and you get hit by highway patrol off the laurel canyon exit. They got to be careful because last time about a month ago. A cop got shot in the face for a standard procedure pull over and uh yeah ever since then they haven't really been back.

But i guess they're back now.
