Hey being from the U.K. where guns are a total rarity. I could imagine it’s a complete nightmare for the cops in terms of the backfiring sounding like gunfire. As obviously all across America shootings are unfortunately totally out of control (not being political, just the sad fact of things). But it must be a real pain in the arse for the cops getting calls of gunfire and having to make judgements on is that a car backfiring and that’s why loads of people are running or is there an active shooter in that car park!. I can’t imagine it being beyond the realm of possibility that the police could mistake a car backfiring for an active shooter in a car and obliterate said car!.
