During the 2017 Mille Miglia, I stumbled across these two bespoke Mercedes AMG cars. Now I'm not entirely sure if these are the actual C63R and E63R models but they looked pretty legit. The owner of these two cars (and countless other AMG cars) is a VIP customer with Mercedes. Could this be just a bespoke one off car for him or a preview of what is to come?

These are the real deal, AMG made only one of both (E class and C class) for this owner who owes a big collection AMG's. They made it specially for him.
They added the R badge which obviously increases horsepower by 47 instead of the S badge which is merely 15, cmon effspot

In the past, AMG might’ve called it the Black Series, but AMG has begun badging its track-focused models with the letter R. Like the AMG GT R, the C63 R and E63 R gets more power, loses weight, and benefits from increased downforce due to aerodynamic enhancements…

Its interesting because there actually WILL BE a C63 R. The car will basically be a C63 Black, because the BS line is supposedly dead. Whether or not the E AMG will get the R treatment really is speculation.
Obviously they have the GT R which is essentially the SLS Black successor.
This bespoke project is pretty cool, but not real. The real R car looks slightly more tame (lol)

The owner is Masters of Speed on instagram, they do Gumball 3000 as well. The badges and the wings on the C & E63 are just a bit for fun. The cars aren't modified engine-wise.They take these to events, for the Laureus Drive for Good foundation. The AMG GTRS is one of their Gumball cars for this year, it's supposed to like the first ever AMG, the Rote Sau 🙂
